குணசாலி ரூத் 

இந்தப் பிள்ளைகள் பெரியவர்களானபோது, ஏசா வேட்டையில் வல்லவனும் வனசஞ்சாரியுமாய் இருந்தான். யாக்கோபு குணசாலியும் கூடாரவாசியுமாய் இருந்தான். ஆதியாகமம் 25.27

 And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents. 

Genesis 25:27

 இப்போதும் மகளே, நீ பயப்படாதே. உனக்கு வேண்டியபடியெல்லாம் செய்வேன், நீ குணசாலி என்பதை என் ஜனமாகிய ஊராரெல்லாம் அறிவார்கள். ரூத் 3.11

And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.

  குணசாலியான ஸ்திரீ தன் புருஷனுக்குக் கிரீடமாயிருக்கிறாள்; இலச்சை உண்டுபண்ணுகிறவளோ அவனுக்கு எலும்புருக்கியாயிருக்கிறாள். நீதிமொழிகள் 12.4

 A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones. 

Proverbs 12:4

குணசாலியான ஸ்திரீயைக் கண்டுபிடிப்பவன் யார்? அவளுடைய விலை முத்துக்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் உயர்ந்தது. நீதிமொழிகள் 31.10

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. 

Proverbs 31:10

 அநேகம் பெண்கள் குணசாலிகளாயிருந்ததுண்டு: நீயோ அவர்கள் எல்லோருக்கும் மேற்பட்டவள் என்று அவளைப் புகழுகிறான். நீதிமொழிகள் 31.29

 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

அந்தப் பட்டணத்தார் மனோவாஞ்சையாய் வசனத்தை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, காரியங்கள் இப்படியிருக்கிறதா என்று தினந்தோறும் வேதவாக்கியங்களை ஆராய்ந்துபார்த்ததினால், தெசலோனிக்கேயி;ல் உள்ளவர்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் நற்குணசாலிகளாயிருந்தார்கள். அப்போஸ்தலர் 17.11

 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
