 *JESUS THE HEAVENLY HOPE* 

A heavenly hope is a hope that lies beyond the now of one living on earth and in the world who experiences pain, ranging from light frustration, to the heaviest burdens of various tribulations.

“My feet are hurting just as my troubles are tiresome and God knows full well my soul is weary but by hope is heavenly strong and glorious!”

THE BIBLE SAYS MUCH ABOUT JESUS THE HOPE.

LET US THINK...

1. HEAVENLY HOPE 

Colossians 1:5 says, "because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, of which you have heard before in the word of truth, the gospel". 

2. GLAD HOPE 

Colossians 1:23 says, "If you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel". 

3. GLORIOUS HOPE 

Colossians 1:27 says, "To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory". 

4. SAVING HOPE 

1 Thessalonians 5:8 says, "But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation

5. GOOD HOPE 

2 Thessalonians 2:16 says, "Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace

6. BLESSED HOPE 

Titus 2:13 says, "while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ". It means that believers should look forward to the return of Jesus Christ, and that this return will be a glorious and joyful experience. 

7. SURE HOPE

19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, 20 where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.

 Heb 6:19-20

8. LIVING HOPE 

1 Peter 1:3 says, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead". 

9. CONFIDENT HOPE

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

10. PURIFYING HOPE 

1 John 3:3 says, "And everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself as he is pure". This verse means that believers who hope to be with Jesus for eternity strive to live a pure life.
