1.A place of heaven

Door of salvation..

Gen 28. 17. And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven. 

2. A place of God's presence

  Judges 20. 26. Then all the children of Israel, and all the people, went up, and came unto the house of God, and wept, and sat there before the LORD, and fasted that day until even, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD. 

3. A place of divine protection

House of protection – Israelites 

Neh 6. 10. Afterward I came unto the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabeel, who was shut up; and he said, Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut the doors of the temple: for they will come to slay thee; yea, in the night will they come to slay thee. 

4. A place of enjoying God's manna

Freshness of the word of God

Mat 12. 4. How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? 

5. A place of fellow citizens

we see believers thrrough Jesus as God sees us through Jesus

Eph 2. 19. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 

6. A place of pillar and ground of truth

House of truth – Knowing Christ 

Court / Holy place / Most holy place

1 Tim 3. 15. But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. 

7. A place of faithfulness

God is the most faithful in our life

Heb 3.2. Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. 

8. High priest over House of God

When we fails. Our failures & other failures -Foolish man / Ordinary man / Spiritual man

 Heb 10.21. And having an high priest over the house of God;

  1 Pet 4. 17. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
